Great exams, new kyu-Grades (and some previews)

This week on Monday and Thursday exams were held in our dojo. Despite the enormous heat (and a dojo-chi being late on Monday) we managed to make things happen.

Four candidates ran for third kyu (Tatiana, Vera, Valerio and Andrés) and one for fourth kyu (Æsa). All of them performed very well and passed.

Congratulations! It is an honour to study with you and see everyone evolve. And special thanks to everyone who came by to watch and support.

Unfortunately, some of our splendid community will not be able to move on their Aiki path in our dojo after the summer break. But I deeply hope you will find a place to continue practising this great martial art of budo somewhere else. And I am sure we will see each other again here or there in the future. Again: It was a privilege for me guiding you and I am thankful for the trust you had in me.

No more sad words. Aikido is life, life evolves, Aikido does. Just natural behaviour.

I am soon setting up some summer/outdoor appointments and hope to see you there and/or next semester starting early in September as usual.

Yours, Fritz, dojo-cho.
