A short Christmas message …

Dear fellows and friends,

it was quite a year this 2020 and it challenged our (budo) spirit quite often. Unfortunately our budo body had a lot more time to relax than expected, but let’s say that this was good preparation for the upcoming years training we will hopefully be able to take part in.

Needless to tell you: Budo does not take place on the mats only, not only it is about twisting joints and throwing partners; in fact I think it is about daily life and therefore it is daily practise. This year i.e. I trained a lot my “muscle of patience” and my ability to readjust many times to constantly changing situations, trying to not lose stance and stability (physically and mentally). So I consider this budo training as well …

And although it is not the same experience compared to the time shared with you on the mats (which I miss a lot), improvement of certain aspects was also possible training virtually with you on our floors at home. However, till now no one knows exactly what will happen next, but I will not lose optimism and therefore I am looking fast forward seeing all of you soon – ideally in our dojo (probably close to January, 17th).

Meanwhile I wish all of you a Merry Christmas.

Stay positive, healthy and – if possible – join our last online classes this year, taking place at 6 pm on
Monday, 28th and
Wednesday, 30th of December.
First training in 2021: Monday, 4th

Best regards,
Fritz.
